Application Process
Step 1- Application:
Request and complete the Application for Enrollment and forward it with the Application Fee of $450 to the School Office.
Step 2- Entrance Examination:
Plan for your student to take the Dallas Lutheran School Entrance Examination. This exam is similar to an achievement test and takes about an hour and a half to complete. It will provide the school with information, which will assist in meeting your student's needs. The fee for this testing is $25.
Step 3- Transcript, Test Scores and Medical Records:
Please request that your student's current school mail these documents to the School Office.
Step 4- Analysis Forms:
While Steps 1, 2 and 3 are being completed, finish the Student Analysis Form, Teacher Analysis Form and a Principal Analysis Form. These forms need to be completed and returned to the school office prior to the final interview with the Principal.
Step 5- Interview Process:
When the school office has received all records and forms, you will be contacted to establish a time for an interview. Prospective families interviewing will meet with the Principal. This meeting with the student and parents is to compare the school philosophy and academic requirements with the student abilities and family goals. Our objective is to provide a caring environment for learning and growing for students and parents who desire the Christ-centered education offered by Dallas Lutheran School. (Please Note: The interview will be scheduled after the school office has received all paperwork.)
