Dallas Lutheran School Entrance
and Scholarship Testing Information

DLS uses the Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE). The ISEE is a three-hour test. Students may test at a number of sites, in the Dallas area, including DLS.

DLS will administer the ISEE on Saturday, February 4, 2017, Saturday, February 11, 2017, and Saturday, February 25, 2017.

Febuary 11th and 25th are open test days, meaning any student in Dallas may test at our site whether they are applying to DLS or not.

Saturday, February 4 will be a DLS only test time; this means if you test on February 4th, DLS must be one of the schools to which you are sending your test results.  If you would like to test on February 4th, please call the admissions office for an invitation code.

Limited test times will be available after February.

Fees vary according to advance registration.

Registration and payment for the ISEE test must be completed in advance. For information regarding testing locations and fees, or to register your child for the ISEE test, visit www.iseetest.org.

Dallas Lutheran School also offers academic scholarships, awarded based on the results of the student's math and essay scores on their entrance exam.  Only new to Dallas Lutheran School students, testing in January and February, will be considered for scholarship awards.

Nine academic scholarships are available:

Two scholarships for $2000 per year
Three scholarships for $1000 per year
Four scholarships for $500 per year

These scholarship awards are good for each continuous year a student is enrolled at Dallas Lutheran School and maintains a GPA of 85% or better.

These scholarships are not the only financial aid available.  Financial aid packets are available for families that have completed the admissions process.

Only students that have completed applications for admission to Dallas Lutheran School and have paid the $100 application fee are eligible to take the tests. If you would like test registration information, and you have submitted your application, please contact the Admissions Director.

If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to call or email.
