Coach's Letter

Parents, Fans & Alumni,
Next week, Tuesday October 28, the Lion Backers Club would like to invite you for dinner and a meeting. You will have the opportunity to visit with and ask questions of the Players of the Week and hear the coaches' inside views on the upcoming opponent. The Lion-Backer club is a group of Lion football fans who meet each Tuesday at 6:30pm on game weeks. We eat a catered meal, view video highlights from the previous week's game and discuss the current week's game plan.
Lion-Backers Club is the sole fundraiser for Dallas Lutheran football and has a fee associated with membership. For this one night we would like to waive any financial commitment and let you experience for yourself this unique opportunity of a fully disclosed behind, between, and inside out look at Lutheran football. We are not pushing membership for the 2008 season, we just want to make a cordial gesture to our very supportive community and allow you the chance to decide if becoming a Lion-Backer member in 2009 is something you would like to do. We believe that we truly have something special in our Lion-Backer Club that a majority of football fans are not privileged to experience.
Please RSVP by Monday noon if you are able to attend. Email back to this address the number in your party. This will aid us in making our dinner order.
The meetings are held in the upstairs classroom, 201, in the Alumni gym at 6:30 pm and run until 8pm. We hope to see you all in attendance this Friday, October 24, as we take on Garland Christian at SMU's Ford Stadium at 7:30pm.
