Recycling Drive
"Did you know? When bottles are recycled, their caps (which can't be processed by recycling machinery) are often cut off and thrown away, ending up in landfills, oceans, rivers, and too often, in the mouths of baby sea animals? This causes the animals to either choke or end up with bellies full of plastic, which eventually leads to death due to malnutrition. Please help DLS collect these plastic bottle caps (from soda bottles/water bottles etc.) to be donated to Aveda a company working to properly recycle these caps and make them into packaging material. There will be a container in the lunchroom for you to place your bottle caps. Please help us clean up our earth!"
