Dear Supporter of Dallas Lutheran School,
I would like to take this opportunity to offer a personal word of thanks for your contributions to our school through the Annual Fund Drive. It is through the generosity of a variety of donors like you that we are able to continue our ministry at DLS.
As we all know, the tuition paid does not fully cover the costs of operating the school. Therefore, tax-deductible donations to the Annual Fund campaign plays an integral role each year in providing the resources to help our school realize its mandate to provide a top-notch educational experience for our students. Every dollar you contributed to the Annual Fund will help sustain the standard of education of Dallas Lutheran School. Participation is important because it is critical for the school to be able to tell prospective donors outside "the school family" that our parents support us. Foundations, corporations, and other major donors want to know that our parents support the school before they will contribute their charitable dollars. You have answered that call and we are grateful.
The results of the first year's Annual Fund are in. We had a 90% parent participation with pledged amounts reaching almost $100,000. Thank you for your generosity and your gift to our students. They will benefit in numerous ways from your kindness.
We all share one common goal - the best for our children and an outstanding education can certainly help achieve that end. Thank you for demonstrating to the faculty and staff the confidence we have in them in this year's campaign.
