Arise & Build New Campus Update

As you know, we are amidst our Arise & Build Capital Campaign to rebuild our school buildings that were destroyed during the devastating tornado that hit our campus in October of 2019. 

Last summer, we began the process of investigating sustainable energy solutions and have incorporated many such offerings into our new design buildings. These steps also allow us to obtain new funding from C-SPACE that offers rebates for projects that incorporate these sustainable solutions.

We are currently in the process of fundraising and securing financing based upon these new initiatives in order to begin construction on the new buildings. We expect to hear back soon on next steps.

Meanwhile, we received a $100,000 grant from the Hillcrest Foundation that will go toward our Arise & Build campaign to rebuild our school. And, we continue to receive contributions to our campaign. Plus, our spring Gala last month raised another $125,000 that will go toward our new building and Annual Fund.

We appreciate your patience as this has been a long process to this point. However, we are hopeful that we can report back on our next steps later this summer.
