Head of School First Day of School Message

Head of School First Day of School Message

Hey welcome Dallas Lutheran.

Our 47th year of ministry. Exciting day today in getting all of the students back and we are happy to have them join us.

Personally, it is my 40th year starting in ministry and I can't believe it's been that long but it is an exciting time to serve and I am happy to serve here at Dallas Lutheran.

We are excited about our upcoming school year and all of the activities we have planned for the school year.

First off, we will have our annual Meet the Lions pep rally and kickoff to the season on Friday, August 25 at 6:30 p.m. in our Brunworth Gymnasium.

Our Athletics teams have begun play for both volleyball and football.

Our volleyball team is currently playing in tournaments and set to begin their season on Tuesday, August 29 in our Lion's Den against Highlands.

And our football team begins their season Saturday, August 26 at Greenville Christian at 11 a.m.

Our students are working hard in the classroom and in all of our extracurricular activities, as well. We look forward to our upcoming plays, musicals and our annual volunteer effort Beyond My Front Door.

And, our seniors are working with Rachel Butler-Ripley, our Director of College Counseling, as she has a full schedule of College Fly-Ins, College Campus Visits and our new Common App software that allows our students to apply to college for the first time and navigate their college application journey.

Stay tuned for more updates throughout the school year right here at our new blog feature.
